Schools Out

How green is your School?

Do your outdoor spaces need a breath of fresh air?

The National, Skills Based, Curriculum requires all pupils to experience the outdoors as part of the learning process.  Schools Out! can provide initiatives to supply experiential learning at a grass roots level with an eye to creating a beautiful yet practical environment, whilst promoting an awareness and cultivating an appreciation of Gardening, Wildlife and the Outdoors at any level and any age.

Schools Out! has the Experience and Award Winning design (Vale of Glamorgan, Biodiversity Partnership Award, 2009) capability to get you digging in for the future of your pupils.  We can offer advice on  growing beds, borders and allotments, planning seating areas, wildlife trails, ponds and areas for learning, play and discovery.

We also provide design ideas and project management services, getting you growing for success and giving your school a bit of welly.  Creating outdoor spaces and breathing places not only fulfils the potential of your pupils but can enhance the image and ethos of your school setting, contributing to the education and pleasure of the whole school community.

Schools Out!  will create bespoke plant displays for your school entrance areas.  A cheerful, warm welcome to your school can make such a difference!

We Also Offer

Trail-blazing Outdoor Leadership.  We will come along to your School and lead or take part in a variety of outdoor activities, providing inspiration, enthusiasm, motivation and a bucket load of fun and ideas for both Staff and Pupils in accordance with the requirements of the National Curriculum, accommodating PHSE and LNF. 'Schools Out' has lots of experience (Forest Schools and Eco Schools)  in getting kids Going Green and Going Wild about being out and about! PPA cover available on selected weekdays.
